Would this diesel be able to run (be controlled) by a Lionel TMCC or Legacy controller?

Nope, just DCS or conventional running.
So, on a Lionel controlled layout, it would have to run in conventional mode? I'm guessing that DCS and Legacy can't be used on a layout at the same time.
DCS and Legacy (TMCC) can be controlled together if controlled by DCS and a Command center.
DCS and Legacy can be used on the same layout but, as correctly stated in a previous post, you only can control an MTH engine with the MTH DCS controller (Smartphone or handheld) via the TIU.
Thank you for all your responses. I understand there are at least a couple of threads pertaining to this subject. I'll due my due diligence and research it further. So much to learn and so little time to learn it.
