Hello Everyone!
Back with another technical question regarding NO sound!
MTH Railking Proto 3.0 BCA Commodore Hudson
Model number: 30-1741-1
Loco has 12hrs, and about 40 miles on it.
Everything works but the sound. (Lights, electro coupler, smoke, motor all good)
I tried so far: (all in DCS app)
-engine features reset
-factory reset via TIU twice
-Turned volume pot back/forth slowly multiple times
-Plug going to tender board fully seated
-Checked speaker wires, speaker ohmed out at 4.3ohms.
-Tried another 4ohm speaker just to make sure.
I'm guessing maybe the audio amp got whacked prior, or possibly no sound file installed??
This was a "New" loco purchase from York, the fiancé found and had to have lol. The sellers happy to work with us on the repair, I'd love to possibly repair the board/issue if possible.
Any thoughts or idea's I'd love to hear! Thank you for all the help this forum and group of guys offer!
