i've had an interest in old protosound steam engines for awhile now
how difficult are they to find at a good price and is it easy to get a BCR installed
interested in both premier and railking lines

Hi Cody,
Can't fully answer your first question, though I do see PS1 engines in general at York, but I can answer your second inquiry. Replacing an original MTH white battery with a BCR is quite simple as all the electronics are in the tender. Just remove the tender shell--usually only four screws from underneath near the corners, locate the battery--it's physically like a 9V battery--remove it, unplug it and replace it with a BCR1, which also looks like a 9V--plugging it in and sliding it into the battery holder in the tender. Believe me, if I can do it, you can.

PS/1 prices are all over the map. I look for really good prices on desirable Premier steam, and I upgrade them to command. 
RK stuff is frequently very cheap in PS/1.

Pennsylvania t1 duplex is the must have for me but I live too far from your store and am broke college student plus I need an o72 circle the 4-4-0 rail king would do as well or the k4 Pacific
I have the PRR T-1, it's a very nice engine. But honestly, I'd save up for a new PS-3 one as they have even more detail now and look even nicer. But I am one willing to do the work to upgrade mine for command and details if I ever feel like I need that stuff.
