It’s up, and I’m not happy with the catalog but I’ll live. Eyeing the Railking 1943. I want one and I can get one now but I don’t need the Caboose
Huge thread on the new catalog here: MTH 2020 Vol. 2
Turbo trains and Aero trains are back.
Sorry to say but once again and for the last 6 years no new locomotive models From MTH except for the 44 ton diesel locomotives. Thank goodness that I have other hobby interests other then model trains. The last MTH locomotive I purchased was the second version of the Swiss Crocodile and that was about 7 years ago. It's no wonder the model train hobby is having fewer and fewer sales. The only 3 rail O gauge new models are coming from Sunset Models / 3rd Rail of which I have 2 new locomotive models on order, The Santa Fe E1A&B Diesels and the Amtrak E60CH Electric locomotive in the phase 3 paint scheme. MTH should have done the Amtrak the ACS64 electric locomotive as they have the die from the European counterpart with just a few modifications it would have made a very popular locomotive model. Just look at all of the interest in the Sunset Models / 3Rail Amtrak E60 according to all the interest here on the forum. It looks like it will be their best selling model to date. At least one forum member said that he is ordering one in of each (3) in the different paint schemes.

Hopefully they redesigned the Turbotrains vs. a remake of a flawed unreliable versions made previously. I have 3 DEAD turbotrains. Problems right out of the boxes.
Unfortunately, for me the catalog was a major letdown after waiting for so long for it to come out.

Same here. Turbotrain scared me because I bought Aerotrain and it was untouched as far as changes desired in new model. Other than that, nothing remarkable. Good for my RV budget.
