I recently aquired an MTH/RK 0-4-0 dockside switcher..neat lil thing. A minor problem was a bent rod so I took it apart and fixed that...and while it was apart I thought I'd do a repaint in my favorite livery.
My question here is while she's apart I noticed there's only the front headlight and no rear light even though there's a lense- can I add a reversing light by tapping off of the oem board somewhere?...and going to LEDs would be better for me. IF all else fails having both on at the same time would be ok if the above isn't possible. I'm also happy with conventional opperation, so I see no need for DCS or TMCC since none of the rest of my engines are that way....maybe some day, but not today.
