Was wondering what was going on after seeing these show up on eBay recently. I just hope the "MTH authorized retailer(s)" aren't now faced with competing with the "factory". I doubt I would feel very good if I were faced with "expensive" inventory and the factory was undercutting my cost. But the "factory" is capable of rebating to and supporting their dealers if they so choose.

I did learn this week that a container of stuff was state-side and due to be unloaded next week. It was to contain a couple of the long over-due "S" club cars. Your guess as to what else is in the container.

OK I see it now... the single ore car.

I think that car was a special run car a few years back. Guess they didn't sell all they figured to.


 

That was the 2014 club car.  It looks better in real life.  The model is painted gold and even though I've scoured the internet unable to find a prototype, it's an oddly attractive car.
