MTH SD-70 ACe shipping.

Sounds like the Railking version.  I haven't heard much about any more Premier models shipping yet -- aside from a few that shipped earlier this year.

Something's not right. The number you provided shows as a Reading heritage unit on MTH's web site.

Maybe I should have mentioned that it is the Norfolk Southern's version of what a  Reading Lines SD-70 ACe would be like if Reading Lines was still operating. It was done by MTH and you(Barry) have the correct roadname for the model.

I have had a Premier Reading/NS heritage unit on pre-order from Barry Train Shop in Eleizabethtown PA for months.  Talked to him yesterday and he hadn't gotten his delivery yet.  MTH number is 20-20271-1.

Yours may not have arrived yet, and you will have wait for it, it is a 20-20271-1.

My engine had the 30-20135-1 MTH number.

Not to worry folks... I think there's some confusion here between MTH Railking (30-prefix) and MTH Premier (20-prefix) numbers.  

After MTH delivered a few Premier ES44's in early 2013, they delivered a bunch of Railking  SD70's around mid-2013.  The Premier SD70's are trickling in now.  I just picked up a CNJ unit last week.

I have to agree with you that people get confused very easy at times, even with stock numbers to show them the actual product number. Seems that half the guys who responded on here were confused about what was shipped by MTH.

Even after putting the MTH number up here some guys were still confused!!

MTH enthusiasts clearly understand the distinction between Premier (20) and Rail King (30) trains.  The prefix is obvious... but what's not so obvious is that some Rail King trains are their "Imperial' line, which still uses the 30-prefix, but is upgraded with detail and other fine features usually found on the more expensive full O-scale Premier line.

Got my Premier Lackawana SD-70ACE last week.  She's a beauty.
