I was wanting to get some input. I have a mth SD50 when i run it then slow it down the brakes won't squeal. I have run it in conventional and run it with the dcs remote commandor brakes will not squeal when i stop it. The brake squeal suppose to be automatic. So my question is there something wrong or is there a way u can turn the sqealing brakes off.I looked in the engine manual and Dsc manual could not find anything about it.

There are only two reasons for this:
Menu/Control/Sound/Brakes and press the AUTO soft key

MTH has been known to forget that file on a few items.
I still cant get them to fix it on the R-12 red subway set.

Thanks Steve. I will let u know. Hope that not the case. I was doing some feature reset on the transfomer. I think that might have turn the sqealing brakes off
Squealing brakes operate only at speeds above 10 mph.
Thanks Barry and Steve and Gerald. I got my brakes to squeal on my MTH SD50 it was turned off by mistake.
