Many of us have done  DCS upgrades to locomotives other than MTH.  Many times the speaker can be an issue and the person doing the work needs to be very creative.  I have several Williams NW-2 switchers that I want to do a DCS job on.  Here is an MTH speaker that I would like to bring to the attention to guys/gals in the same position.  The speaker is MTH part number BF-0000050.  It is a 4 ohm 3 watt speaker and sounds very good.  The specs are 40MM X 28MM and 11MM tall.  The MSRP is $15.00.   I just confirmed with MTH and these are in stock.

prrhorseshoecurve,  I thought you knew I was going to use them in my NW-2.  I brought this speaker to the attention of people in the same position.  That was the reason for my post.  I also stated the sounds are good.   I do not blame you for asking that question after I made my statement that the sounds were good.  Everyone hears things different.  No reason exists to believe me.

I am glad you liked the pictures.

John, I have several on the way.  I will let you know.

FYI to people who are going to use this speaker in a Williams NW-2.  It is a direct bolt in replacement for the Williams speaker.  Everything fits perfect.  If anyone wants to know if it will fit a Williams NW-2, here are the pictures.  The top of the speaker is below grade on the frame.

Well...., if we can't trust your opinion Marty, then .......

I quit!!

Thanks Marty, GGG, and gunrunnerjohn for all your advice on this forum.  You and others have softened some of the pain points of this hobby making it more enjoyable.  Not intending to hijack this thread, can you recommend any "good sounding" upgrade speakers for PS2 Diesels engines?  It's my understanding that the sound quality can be greatly improved with an upgrade, not just replacement of the original speaker.  Especially one with the flacking issues. Any leads would be appreciated. I'm looking from $15-$30 range per speaker. I search the forum and read many previous posts with little luck.  Thanks again!
