Searched the forums but haven't quite found the answers, so posing questions to people who already have set(s) of MTH either single or dual head traffic lights.

Can the pole be carefully  re-bent in opposite direction or will tubing break (metal or plastic tubing)?   On my layout one signal would have to end up in middle of a track so head could shine into correct lane. Therefore, my solution would be to make pole bend over other way, but then the lights will be upside down (green on top, red bottom)  and have to re-position LEDs unless I want to have an Irish traffic light ( http://gizmodo.com/the-story-b...fic-light-1545301615 ) !

If it can be bent other way, can heads be "easily" opened to allow LEDs to be re-positioned?  How are LEDs wired for dual heads, that is outer (left side as normally viewed) head wires go into center head to connect there and then center head wires run down the pole and out the base? Or are both  heads independently wired and both sets run down pole and spliced at base?

F.W.I.W, Bill Hudson had asked similar questions in 2012 but apparently received no replies and topic replies is closed.

I found someone who is selling a three direction traffic light and bought it.  The light will be suspended over intersection midpoint using two diametrically positioned dowel rod "telephone poles" .  So this will really backdate layout before MUTCD required redundant signals.  Will post photos and/or video of it.

Unfortunately I ordered two sets of MTH double headed traffic signals from a brick and mortar hobby shop and don't want to cancel order.  So I will be selling them on OGR buy sell trade.  Unless someone is looking for a set(s) and can wait for them.
