MTH Triplex Issue | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I own a MTH Erie Triplex w/PS3.0 (20-3611). The engine will slow down in curves on club layout (sometimes to a crawl) when running at 25 -30 mph. If I run the engine at slow speed (0 -10 mph) , the speed usually stays consistent.

Is there an issue with my cruise control feature? Is the Drive between the engine and tender possibly binding?

Please note we also run MTH Kanawhas, Niagras, among other Premier locomotives on the club layout that experience no issues in slowing down in this area of the layout. I would say the curvature is probably O-96 or larger.

The lower tie rods extend very low and hit the top of the DZ-1000s by that I mean is anything hitting something on the curves.
