There was a rumor that the MTH catalog wouldn't be out until April. I asked on Facebook, and got this response:

Jonathan HatfieldSo The word from the WGH show is that the catalog won't be out until April? Does that mean we won't see any product delivered this year in S from MTH?

MTH Electric TrainsThe O Gauge Catalog comes out in April. The S Gauge Catalog unless something changed over the weekend will be out very soon. We have un-painted tooling samples for all cars and the artwork is complete for all 2013 freight cars. So I believe we should have painted sample cars in the Spring. Engines will arrive in the Fall/Winter of 2013.

Good Day,

I asked Andy E. at the Fort Worth Show in January about the S Scale. He said they are working on the S Scale catalog. I bet it will be out before the TCA show in April.

Let the horse race begin.................will we see the Lionel S Scale UP Heritage SD70ACe's in the hobby shops or the MTH S Scale MTH Catalog first!

 I love good competition!

I have just received my March / April copy of the s gaugian magazine and inside was an advertisement for MTH S Gauge Trains that do More. VIEW THE 2013 CATLOG on line. There is no catalog yet but it appears to be very soon. They picture the catalog color cover an on it is a Santa Fe F-3 A&B units on the rails. The MTH logo in Blue letters and red wings on either side. Below is the statement S Gauge Trains That Do More. accross the bottom is 2013. Well this is the start and show it will be available Sooner rather then Later.
