We have a question today, does the MTH premier Great Northern VO-1000 Diesel Engines have smoke come out of all four smoke stacks when it is running? We cant reay tell in the YouTube vides and does not say on the MTH website and can not find it on the ogr forum. Thank you.

Yes!!! It's awesome. Ive never seen an engine with 4 stacks that work. We bought it and didn't know.

Just got a MTH VO 1000 Seaboard 20-20789-1. It has a single stack. Smoke output was poor, found the smoke fan running in the opposite direction when compared to my MTH PS-2 Alco S-2, which has an identical smoke unit and smokes great. Reversed the fan motor wires on the VO 1000 with a soldering iron and the smoke improved quite a bit. Disappointed there is no cab light, or lit number boards. I added a cab light. Sounds are great, as they are in MTH Alcos.
