MTH Railking 30-1629-1 with PS3. Need part number for the wiring harness in engine side the goes from the wireless drawbar to the board inside the engine. I was having issues with the engine on corners where it would cut out. Took apart and started checking wires and saw it sparking on the red wire at the 6 pin connector. You can see on the picture where it was. Appreciate the help.

An email to Midge will take some time but she'll get the right part for you.
You could check with Brasseur, they have many MTH parts available.
no midge is out right now and they don't know when shell be back !call mth and ask for Debbie she is helping out midge in her absence! her extension s #261!
she helped me!
why don't you just put a small piece of electrical tape over the red wire and maybe even heat shrink over the back end of the connector! and problem solved and there wont be any more short or sparks!
I have seen where the wire is not installed inside the connector properly. The wire was not stripped fully and was not making proper contact with it's metal piece. I would first, take a good look at it up close, before just adding shrink wrap to it. That's if you even feel like messing with it.
The part you need is: BC-1200238. You only show HALF the plug, this plug is a 6 pin connector. The RED wire is AC power, if it contacts other wires you will have a direct short and can really cause damage. This connection and the draw bar are problem areas. You must be very careful when you splice the wires, use shrink wrap tubing to cover the solder joints. If you are not comfortable with the repair, get an Authorized Service Technician to do it.
I have repaired a Railking Mountain where the plug melted the 6-pin connector and destroyed both ps3 boards, $$$.

Thanks for the help. I was able to pull the pin out of the connector and noticed that the wire itself was burnt out and all that was left was the insulation. I was able to separate the pin from the wire and cut the wire back and strip a new section and crimp it back together and put a little solder on it to hold. Put it back together and the engine is running great now. I will still get the replacement cable just to be safe.
Thanks
