I recently bit the bullet and got the new WTIU. I got it hooked up downloaded the app and updated the firmware all without too much trouble. Trains are running good, great signal throughout the layout. I am using all four channels both fixed and variable. I figured out how to set the variable channels to fixed. I have 3 loops of track and a small yard. Each channel is powered by a Lionel 180 watt powerhouse. So one channel goes to each of the three loops, and the last channel to the yard. All are isolated from each other. After starting up and waiting for the boot up to finish, I will apply track power to two of the channels, say track 1 and 2. I start running trains and all is going well. Now the issue: when I go to switch on an additional channel, say to the yard, I will hear an audible click and the track power will go off briefly on all the channels and then go back on. So any trains I have running stop because of no power. When the power comes back on everything is running fine. So I am wondering if I am tripping some kind of surge protection in the WTIU when I turn on the other power transformers or something else? I have rechecked all the connections and they seem fine.
