Re: remounting 1666 motor to the shell

I've restored this 1666 motor and trying to remount it back into its shell. The rear mounting screw hole inside is centered, but the motor screw hole is not centered When it's screwed in place the motor is crooked in the shell. I'm doing something wrong I'm sure What do I need to do See pics

You don’t need to do anything…..it’s offset for a reason. …..if it were centered, the brushes would short out against the shell. So nothing to see here, ….move along, you’re doing fine. ……😁
