Hello OGR,
While I have used an Auxiliary Tender behind a steam loco and its primary tender, configured into a "train" so that the Aux Tender rear light works properly, I am interested in running a two Aux Tender consist behind my Big Boy and its primary tender as often seen in several You Tube videos.
Before acquiring versions of the Yellow UP tenders (powered, non-powered), who knows which of the three tenders would have rear lights working in these scenarios?
1. engine + primary tender (powered) + aux tender-1 (powered) + aux tender-2 (powered)
2. engine + primary tender (powered) + aux tender-1 (powered) + aux tender-2 (non-powered)
3. engine + primary tender (powered) + aux tender-1 (non-powered) + aux tender-2 (powered)
My other question relates to wondering how good or confusing two Aux Tenders (powered) both having sound effects may sound running so close to each other?
It will be most helpful knowing how these assembled consists with Legacy Control: (a) may or may not work properly, or (b) how well they will sound when together.
I look forward to anyone's experience. Thanks in advance for responding.
