Guitar player...obviously...still at it...probably will be until I physically can't...not married and no kids, work a good day job, play music most weekends...and have lots of cool toys!

Sand the rails and ROCK ON!!!

Oh, yeh...the desert island setup...Fender Deluxe Reverb, Wampler Ego compressor, Wampler Plexi Drive, Fender Telecaster, Gibson Les Paul...and an O-gauge choo-choo train! Come see the Doghouse Daddies in KC!
Gibson man, is that a vintage Les Paul? I always like the sound of a Les Paul when I heard Mike Bloomfield play it. The Telecaster is another favorite--enjoyed hearing Roy Buchanon doing his pyrotechnics on it (bending strings, etc.).
Vintage as in 1982 model...I bought at 19 years old...vintage is a sales tactic...does not really impact tone, and is probably negative for playability...really...tone is about manufacturing tolerances and biomechanics...and random stuff like the piece of wood you get...some guitars sing...some just play...it's not voodoo, just the luck of the draw...and who is driving. ..
