Hi Bruce,

Well it programs with the Arduino IDE and Arduino code but the board is the ESP32, with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth classic and low energy.   If you use a regulated DC power supply on the track, it's easier to keep synchronized.  The LEDs have no electrical connection to the track.  Only an IR sensor keeps things synced once per revolution.
