This is a modified RY Phase I 44 tonner done in one of four paint variations. i love the lighted marker light, this is why I choose this paint scheme.

Now that is a real beauty! A nicer 44 tonner paint scheme would be hard to find. The RY 44 tonner is a sweet running engine too. Nice job.

Stephen, you may not know this, but these 44 tonners were used in Australia on the NSWGR. They were 79 class.
-I knew that the NKP had a 44tonner, few people do. Also L&N had one as I have a photo here in Cincinnati. The NKP paint scheme would be cool!
