This Christmas is my 7th trip on the Coast Starlight from southern Calif. to Portland Oregon. Its 29 hours so even a model railroader is glad when you arrive but I still look forward to the trip.
He is an entertaining writer. Thanks for posting this!
LOL!!! Pretty much mirrors my trip to an extent! My Amtrak log link is below....but to make a long story short we had a mental hygiene passenger on my Cardinal trip....handled very well by Amtrak staff and local police! (later the conductor said no extra charge for the show)
But train travel is the best way to get somewhere....it is an adventure.
Can't wait for my next trip!!!
