is a cheapy Lionel 1987 Blazer set. Rock Island scheme with the 8700 switcher. The only thing missing is the plastic bell and I found one on e-overpay for cheap. It came with some pipe and barrels for loads and the cute little bobber caboose. Nearly thirty years old and she runs smooth and quiet!

I really want to paint the loco flat black... any opinions to that. I also am going to upgrade the loco and caboose couplers to the magnetic. They are non releasing right now.

I don't do the collector thing, I just buy stuff that I like and that I can have fun with.

Sorry about the pic, all I had in the basement was my cell.
