Progress has been slow, but I my new layout is coming along fine. It will feature a double track mainline on a shelf style layout. My room measures 8-1/2’ x 20’. The table top will be 42” above the floor and 30” deep so I can reach everything. I plan on using Lionel’s FasTrack System because I have plenty left from my previous layout. All curve track will be brand new. 84” and 72” curves on the mainline and O72 switch tracks. My old layout was built when I had only traditional O trains. In the interim I have acquired PLENTY of scale proportion locomotives and cars. I will occasionally post more pictures as I progress on my layout. Thanks!

Your off to a nice start. Nice to have large curves planned into your layout.
Everything I see looks great! It is great you have room for broad curves and your depth is 30 inches! What are the outside dimensions of your layout and do you have a track plan to post?
Hmmm, that's the same size as my new room, I would love to see the plan.

Mark, my son Matthew has some Western Maryland motive power. Steam and diesel.
Looks fantastic so far!! The different levels, bridges, and flowing curves seem to indicate an interesting track plan is taking shape. Congratulations, and keep us posted.
