So... My MTH NY JETS engine went up to enemy territory to Marty Fitzhenry for repair work. Gave it to him at York and look where it was located.. A picture of it on his turntable surrounded by NFL enemy territory engines. Where's the Pats engine?Jets engine

Ted, the Pats engine is in Florida.   We have some fun at football season but deep down inside I have nothing but the greatest respect for my train friends that live in New York and New Jersey.  You have the first Jets engine to visit my roundhouse.  I did think about putting in a Patriots sound file before I sent it back to you.  Enjoy.

Now that would have been pretty funny  Ted rolls the Jets engine out and it talks like Bill Belicek

We have a native of south Florida riled up at times since he is a Dolphins fan. Hint, hint, his company produced the Jets engine.

lol! That's what you call "irony" & "poetic justice".

Saw a bumper sticker earlier that said "I  love Jets noise."

Just make sure when you get your engine back it hasn't been deflated.

Alex,

It just shows the class act Marty follows and that is not in Patriots terms but is in toy train terms. I figured my engine would need a visa to cross into Massachusetts!

Ted

P.S. He added to the sound file - J-E-T-S,     JETS JETS, JETS

Ted

I agree with you , Marty is a one of kind great hearted guy, that would help anyone. We are very lucky to have him as a friend and fellow hobbyist.

PS are you sure he put the Jet sound file in or the Pats sound file  lol  😂

Ted, at our home games with the Jets, Pats  fans always say something else when the Jets take the field.  I was glad Mike did these trains for the fans.  I would think sales would have been good.   I also have the Red Sox train.  I am the voice on that train.  I always laugh as when that train was released, forum member and good guy Jim Katz made a comment on the forum about the voice being done by some guy with a phony Boston accent.  I met Jim for the first time a week later and we had some good laughs after I informed him I was born at the Boston City Hospital.
