That might just be the most spectacular stunt that the "Myth Busters" ever pulled. But, I think it has some real significance in the modern day world. The car was strong enough to withstand the greatest atmospheric pressure that they were able to engineer, by pulling a vacuum inside the tank. But when a distortion occurred like what happened when the concrete road divider was dropped on it, it failed to hold up. I think that when a tank car train is involved in a train wreck, it's going to be impossible to design a tank that can withstand those pressures. There are going to be leaks, and if the contents are flammable, there's going to be explosions and fires.
