At the local show I help run I managed to pick up 2 boxes jammed full of 60s/70s era N scale items last weekend. There were a number of European electrics in one box, and tucked underneath those were several small boxes with catenary pieces. After some online sleuthing it looks like I have a stash of Sommerfeldt catenary - approx 25 sections of the copper wire, uprights, hangers, insulators. Anyone here have experience with this stuff, and what its value might be? It looks unused, and I'd like to move it on via E*ay to someone who can put it to good use. Several of the engines (Rapido and Trix) are set up to run off the catenary - that must be quite a sight.
