In an estate collection I recently purchased, there is an O Gauge, all cast aluminum, 3-unit New York, New Haven & Hartford "Boston Comet" streamliner.  It looks like maybe 1980's production, maybe Consoli Family Trains, because it has the same type of paper diaphragms that their Zephyr had and  the motors look similar.  Anybody know anything about this set?  I've never seen one before, no ebay or google info pops up.  I'll get some photos tomorrow.  Thanks, Allen

I had one years ago I purchased from Tony Consoli in the old yellow hall at York.  It was heavy gauge aluminum polished.  I also had the Western Coil and Electric Streamliner.    I purchased the Comet as it ran by my childhood home long before I was born.  The Comet ran 6 round trips a day to Providence Rhode Island from Boston.  My Mother (she is alive at age 91) always talked to me as a child about the Comet.  She went to St Anns school in Readville Mass and could look outside her school room window and watch  the Comet streak by.  Today the Acela does the same thing over the same roadbed as the Turbo Train did before the Acela.

Thanks for all the comments.  I just posted some photos.  Does anyone remember the year this was made?  I remember when The Consoli Family did the Zephyrs, but I never recall this set, though I'm now sure it came from them.  I can't imagine that they made more than a few of these.  Oh well, I'm sue you all know where this one is headed!  Thanks again, Allen
