Name change (sort of) for Woodland Scenics

The following correspondence was received from the president/CEO of Woodland Scenics:

TO: All Woodland Scenics Customers and Vendors

RE: Woodland™ Trademark

Please accept this letter as formal notification that our business name has changed from Woodland Scenics^® to Woodland™. The purpose of this change is to have a name that reflects all of our diverse product lines, rather than just one. Woodland will continue to offer the same quality brands, Woodland Scenics, Scene-A-Rama and PineCar, under this new trademark.

This change can be immediately seen on our web site and in the stationery formats for all of our invoices, purchase orders, e-mails and letterhead.

Actually the more I think about it the more I feel Woodland by itself is a little abrupt. It does not explain the business well enough. For those of us that are familiar with the company this is not an issue but people new to model railroading may not understand what Woodland sells.

Perhaps a little more detail like Woodland Structures and Scenery for Model RR's.............................
