It would make train shows and meets more fun if there was some way to tell forum members from the rest. Then you could talk to each other etc. Like a pin or something (shirt). Just a random thought. Won't happen and I am sure someone will have a snarky comment....lol

Actually OGR sells a OGR Forum Member pin. I picked mine up at York and wear it to all the shows I attend.
I did not know that...thanks for the info.....I think it is a good idea so you can be identified as a forum member....
Did not know about it. Where is it and what time?
One of the best ways I have found to meet Forum members is to host an open house. We are fortunate in the Northeast as there have been four (4) Forum events this past summer. You get a chance to share your layout, enjoy some great conversation, and the food, well that goes off the charts. You might want to look into this.
I also suggested to Jim Barrett at one of these events that OGR sell their black shirts with a Forum identification and the OGR logo. These could be prepaid so that OGR is not stuck with unwanted inventory. I hope OGR supports this idea. I do have one of their Forum Member pins.
OGR doesn't list the pin in their on-line store, did you pick it up at one of the shows?
The had them on sale at their booth at York. It looked like kind of a secret. They didn't have them out but hidden under the counter. Alan clued me in.
I had bought one in the past at York but apparently lost it so they got another $3 out of me.
I agree with PCC. OGR should sell the shirts AND the pins.
Maybe a premium member could start a poll on who would buy either and maybe then OGR would notice.
Good idea Chris, but why aren't you a Premium Member?
Our stock of those OGR Forum pins is very low, however I will look into adding them to the web store.
I think that's a great idea.
Thanks Rich
We tried bending some 20 yr old gargraves, oh boy, no good. Use it for straight areas. Got some new gargraves, big difference, easy to do.
I assume over time it's the moisture, wood ties expanding and contracting over the years and such.
