I find myself in Washington DC today and realize the NASG Convention is in Baltimore next week. Is it practical for me to commute to Baltimore for a day trip? Wednesday or Thursday looks to be open days with Wednesday being best and I think it will be easy for me to get to Union Station from my location. Anyone have any touristy advice for navigating from Penn Station to the convention center.
I apologize for posting this here, but it seemed most expedient, and thanks in advance.

I think they are only 45 miles apart, so I don't know why you couldn't go., Not sure where the convention is but you should be able to find it on Google Maps..

The convention is in Timonium, north of Baltimore. Not sure of the transportation links.
Here is a link to the website which includes the daily schedule. http://www.nasgconvention.com/ There also may be a contact in there from the Baltimore area that can tell you the best way to get there from DC. Thursday might be the better day to attend if you can do it.
It's an easy commute from Washington. Take I95 north to the Baltimore Beltway I 695 west around B-more to I 83 north.. The time it takes depends a lot on traffic. There is some road construction on I 695 between I 95 and I 70 but it hasn't been too bad most of the time I have driven it.
North Penn S Guagers are there this week set up. I believe we are in the lobby.
Anyone who attended have some photos to post (saw some on the American Flyer FB page)? Also, any updates from the MTH folks who are attending?
