Hi, Ed.  I use a Brother P-touch 1900/1910 label maker.  I stated with a simpler model and the wife seen how much fun I had with it and got me this newer one.  I made labels for all my die cast cars and pickups with it.  It has frames that you can put around your words, cut them out and apply.  They are peel 'n' stick.  I mounted them on 3/8" Plastruc angles and they have been on for about 11 years now and still look good.  I don't know if they have yellow or not but google Brother P-touch and check them out.  I think Staples have them, too.
