Hi all. I'm in need of a screw that holds the truck to the motor in an MTH Alco C-628. I contacted gunrunnerjohn and he told me that it is an M3x14 or M3x12mm .Unfortunately he doesn't have any and sugested that I come on here.I also contacted MTH ,and their parts person is currently out. Also this screw is definitely round head and has a small washer on it.Just to see if it would work, I pulled one out of an MTH Baldwin AS-616 , and it works. I assume that these screws are somewhat standard. I'm not real good at metric measurements, but this screw is a tad over a 1/2 inch long in overall thread length from the bottom of the head. I'm hoping that one of the repair guys on here may have one for me to purchase.

Thanks in advance:

Mike,

If don't found the screws. I have a Screw and Bolt  Company here in Brick N.J. I will give them a call in the morning ask the questions. if they have them I will pick up them.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I found a screw and washer at my local True Value Hardware. It's a M3x16 .

It's bit longer, but the hole in the bolster is deep  enough to accommodate it.

Thanks for everyone's help, gunrunnerjohn and especially John DeAlto, for offering to mail me some screws. The help on the Ogauge forums is awesome!
