I have a customer that wants a diesel painted with his new colors and logos. Is there someone on here that does special size, colors, etc. decals for our locomotives? If so, please send, or post here their info.

Thanks in advance.

I love this Forum.

Thanks Alan for the suggestion. I did not save the firm's name that did the beautiful job on the many decals required for the RailRunner project, but they are located in the Detroit area.

In my e-mail to Roger, I suggested that he contact Harry Heike at (856)625-5506. He was the individual that referred me to the decal provider, and as we all know, Harry is a perfectionist, so you gotta believe this firm is one of the best available.

What I do know is they were quick in the turn around of this project, their work was excellent, and the pricing was more than fair.

That's about the best I can do for now.

This is ALL very useful information and I'm going to book mark this. I would suggest anyone who needs decals in 0 scale to do the same.

As I have said other times recently, the availability of commercial 0 scale decals is on a very rapid decline. Obviously there is some demand as these threads of "where to find decals" come up every week. BUT there is also obviously not enough demand to warrant companies to have them made.

Highball Graphics is one of the last companies with a line of 0 scale decals. Microscale is continually dropping 0 scale decals from production. Railgraphics has dropped their 0 scale data sets. I've used Oddballs decals in the past, but have read unflattering things here about their recent service and their website hasn't been updated since 2011.

So again, this is all useful information. Thanks.

Apparently there is a family connection between Dandy and Solid Design as can be seen here.
