So when ever I am confused about something, down on my day or someone has just rubbed me the wrong way,

where do I go?????? To the trains of course. Tinkering, running, painting, oil and lubing takes my mind off

what I was thinking about and I can feel the stress melt out of my body. And at 6'7" and 300 lbs that's a

lot of stress!!!

Popi,

Ever play Pro foot-ball?

Trains are a great stress reliever.

When, I was younger and worked a thankless, stressful job, I would come home and go right to the trains, soon after greeting my wife and later the kids, when they came into out our family.

Running the trains, tinkering, repair, whatever, the trains worked great!

Take care,

Ralph

Exactly one of the main reasons I Like this hobby so much.

My Day Job I'm in IT and the line of work i do is stressful with needy folks all day long, not to mention I have a 2.5 year old at home which is a full time job in-itself!

So when ever I need to decompress, I go down to my train room, turn on the TV for background noise and I pick a project to work on for a few hours. This is of course after my boy is asleep in his bed.

I can't actually run anything yet because I'm still building my layout. So the last few weeks I haven't done anything because I've run out of stuff to do/ don't have the materials to start...

Man.. I really need to get some trains running!
