So I have had this 990 control system for some time and are looking into getting it connected up and running. The more I read, the more I am learning there is a lot more to the system. I don't have a lot of the big fancier loco's with all the bells and whistles, but the wife and kids got this for me years ago and I want to get it running for the grandkids, well for me as well. LOL
I have a ZW transformer and several CW80's.
Question 1: Do I need a TPC 300/440 to run conventional loco's on the layout?
Question 2: I must purchase a 6-14194 cable and a 6-14191 if using a TPC?
Question 3: Do I need a #994 Power-Master Bridge (#6-24279) to run the control system?
Any tips or tricks recommended to ease the learning curve? I have read several threads on the forum here and were great.
I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions.
