On Saturday, my wife spotted and I subsequently bought a LionChief Polar Express train set from either Pete Costa orPeter J. Costa, (they had adjacent tables - I believe one may have been the father and the other the son.)

I need to contact them because in our haste getting and paying for the set (the only LionChief PE set he'd brought to the show), the person whom we paid did not write out a receipt for us (although he did write down info on a yellow sticky note which he kept). Later on during the show I noticed that the other gentlemen working at those tables were writing out receipts for sales but I figured they're really busy and didn't bother asking for one then. However, I'm now thinking that with electronic devices being the way they are and prone to possible failures that I should have a receipt for Lionel warranty purposes should the need to use that warranty ever arise.

If you've bought from Costa at a show, (i believe they do business under Town and Country Trains) and have on your receipt a number where I can contact them to get my receipt, please post it here as a Bing search for Peter J. Costa / Pete Costa had no hits while Town and Country Trains did turn up their eBay store but as is the norm for eBay stores, no contact phone number is shown.)

I hope I won't ensue difficulty having them send me a receipt after the fact. Thanks for the help.

Town and Country Hobbies isn't the same as I've called them but thanks for trying to help me out, Jerry. To anyone else with a lead, I'm still tring to get a phone number for Town and Country Trains, aka Pete Costa.

Your tag line says you are in the TCA, have you tried the member directory listing on line (I think it is still there?) ?  Pete is a member, as I have seen him at York many times.

Thanks, gunrunnerjohn and Dave, for your suggestions.

Gunrunnerjohn, I did email a message to Town and Country Trains via eBay and will await his reply but would prefer phoning him.

Dave, I never thought of checking my copy of TCA directory. Will do that now and hopefully there'll be a contact number for either Peter J or Pete Costa.

Thank you, Ted. I was able to contact the dad, Peter and he most cetainly seems to be a very honorable dealer and overall genuinely nice guy. Someone whom I certainly won't hesitate sending my friends and acquaintances to and recommending they make their train purchases from his Town and Country Trains booth at train meets and shows. Even better yet, you can't beat his prices and how he obviously stands behind the merchandise he sells to customers.
