Hi all,

While not strictly TMCC or Legacy I think this is the best place to ask.
As usual, I am up to no good and need a recommendation for the smallest possible electronic e-units - for dc can motors but also for an open frame pullmor style motor. I haven’t measured amperage requirements, I’m just starting to think something through.

thanks in advance!

Rather than lionchief, the next experiment for this testbed is actually an old mini commander 2. The OO Hudson motor has a stall current of 1.1A or so, well within the mini’s limits.

I’m 90% sure I can make this fit, just need to cut down the weight or relocate an electrolytic…

Well, I fried two MiniCommander 2s - a very costly mistake as they are rare as hen’s teeth and Lionel went out of stock on their cousins, the RCM2 boards so no forward progress on anything more advanced than a dallee electronic e-unit, which works great.

practically any dcc encoder fits and I’ve been thinking about stashing a flyerchief board in the tender and running a tether.
