I'm trying to find part numbers for the hall effect switch that goes with this truck and a contact roller (center rail) assy that also goes with this truck, but I can't even ID the truck as it sits. I bought a couple at a recent train show, $5 for the pair, so I couldn't resist - now I want to make them useful! Thanks!

I would say a tender truck from a medium priced steam loco. Note the magnet axle is in the wrong way.
I don't understand why you say the magnet axle is in the wrong way? What is the right way?
If you look at the right side, you can see the stud the sensor mounts on.
No, I take that back, the stud is for the ground strap........Try 610-9845-160. Sensor and bracket can be found under 19845 in Lionel's online site.
Thanks Chuck, that ID'd my truck(s) and I now know which part numbers to order. I really do appreciate it! This will be my first from-scratch RailSounds installation in a tender.
