Last year I bought an MTH Premier Canadian Pacific 4 Car Christmas Holiday set with the LED Lights on the cars. This year I decided to open up the boxes and put them on my layout and run them.I know that you have to be very careful with these cars and I even wore gloves when I handled them. After putting them on the track and powering up the transformer, one of the cars did not light up and started to smoke badly plus it tripped the breaker on my transformer.Anybody have the same issue...and how do I rectify this problem ? Any suggestions ? Since MTH closed up shop...I may be left with a bad car (shelf queen) and only a 3-car operating set. What a bummer..

the power supplies inside the cars are NOT very dependable, I have had better luck replacing them and adjusting the voltage on a new supply for your lighting, I can fix them for you there not very expensive and have them in stock! which state do you live in? Send me an email with your phone number and I'll discuss with you! email is in my profile!
