Looking to buy the 2mm type- 1.25 inch long glass in line fuses rated at 32 volts, 10 amp fast blow type. Does anyone have the part number to order through a supplier or know someone who wants to sell me about 25 or more. Tried Mouser's site and keep seem to find this type there.

Thank you.

It's been my experience that 250 volt fuses are 1.25" long, but 32 volt ones are shorter.  The longer dimension is a design feature that allows more safety (less arcing and more positive circuit clearing) when a high voltage short occurs.   You can use a 250 volt fuse on the 10 amp low voltage circuit and get the same protection.

I measured the ones that I have and bought them from Radio Shack and they are 1.25 inches in length and are rated exactly as noted. Did not know that the 250volt type do the same as the 32 volt type. I just want a fast acting fuse rated at 10amps in case I run many lighted passenger cars with a few engines together. (don't wan tto use that word l----p) LOL!

The fuses you are looking for a typically referred to as 3AG. In higher currents like 10 amps the glass fuses will be rated at 32 volts. The same size fuse, rated at 125/250 volts will be in a ceramic case filled with arc queching material. You can use that instead.

They are very common and likely found at your local hardware or automotive store or Digi key, Newark, etc.

I'm looking to buy more of the standard 1/4inch by 1 1/4 inch size fuses. Bought them at Radio Shack and a pack of four goes for about $2.50. Hoping to buy them at a better price from a Mouser or Digikey.

Arthur-thank you for the info on the 250 volt type fuses. Seems that Radio Shack by me does not stock the 32 volt ones but had the 250 volt ones and you clarified that for me.
