Need Inst Manual K-Line F7 with TMCC

The K-Line's with TMCC are pretty much all the same as far as manuals go. Do you have any other K-Line with TMCC and manual?

Many K-Line locomotives came with a generic manual, Jeff is correct.  If you've seen one of them, you've seen them all.

This is the first and only K Line engine I have, that is why I am looking for a manual.

The manual states to install the battery for conventional operation, but when I look at the information for TMCC operation (I am using DCS), there is no mention of the battery.

I did install the battery, and finally got the F7's to run.

DO I STILL NEED TO KEEP THE BATTERY IN THE ENGINE to run in TMCC mode?

Ray,  like all TMCC engines, the battery is primarily used to keep the sounds on when cycling between forward - neutral- reverse when the power is interrupted operating in conventional. It should not be necessary to operate the engine in command I think...

The battery is ONLY for the RailSounds board and has no effect on actual movement, either conventional or command.  Installation of the battery should have had zero effect on actually being able to operate the locomotive.  My guess is while installing the battery, you bumped something else "into place" and then it ran.
