I am doing a project (another book) and would like to include a photo of a N&W 2300 turbine - the "Jawn Henry."

Does anyone on the forum have a photo of a real or their model that they will let me use and I could e-mail me (address in profile) or just post here and I can copy?

thanks

You have to be careful.  Years ago one could use photos with just an attribution.  I have a Cab Forward photo from the RR Museum of Pa like that, and good thing I saved the permission.  About a decade or so ago they changed their policy. $25 for each use of each photo.  The way it was worded, you might think that adds $25 to each book sold for each photo.

Harold Vollrath always allowed publication for free - you purchase the photo, and simply attribute it.  A truly nice guy.

You've got me curious, now.  Is your book about the Jawn Henry itself, or does it focus on some other topic?

It's about Veranda turbine.  I just want a picture of another contemporary turbine.

I would real prepare a photo of an O-gauge model on a layout, actually.
