Need Part for Lionel Hobby Shop

Contact service at Lionel not every thing is on the web list yet, its a work in progress, so don't assume they don't have it. its worth the call to Mike Regan or email him.

Don, my first query was to Lionel service then to Mike.  He responded promptly but up until now most all his efforts have gone into powered units.  Maybe accessories will be next.

 

He didn't have the part nor any broken units to take the part from.

I know this would be the extreme but based on what you have in the picture ,if your handy with your hands you could make it out of Lexan. if you clamped the gear to a piece of lexan the diameter of what you have. You could use a triangle file to cut the gear teeth in the right place.Plexiglass is to brittle but the lexan won't chip.
You can get the lexan at Lowes and it cuts best with tin snips.
Just an idea if worst comes to worst.
