My wife's roller derby league has a railroad theme to it. They already have one team called the TrainWrecks, but now they are forming a second team and want to keep it train related.

One name was the Promontory Prowlers which I know the background and history, but I think would be missed by many, so we need others

Any ideas? Double entendre are encouraged, but the name needs to be family friendly.

OK guys be creative

You're close to small narrow gauge railway that existed early in the 20th century known as the Uintah Railway. The route snaked from Mack, CO northward to Watson, UT. Henry Bender wrote a book about the history of the Uintah Railway, called "The Gilsonite Route".

I can't come up with a catchy team name that would be readily recognizable to the common person.

Yep! That's what gave me the idea.

Very cool logo by the way!

Hi Chris, I have to go with Gandy Dancers.

Lets face it it's the first name that come to mind becauase it works. It's traditional RR and lets face it if anyone ever saw a roller durby the ladies may be rough but it still looks like a graceful dance.

That's why we guys like it, there is alot of physical action but in a graceful way.

Just look at that group picture you posted, looks like the cast of 42end Street to me.
