Need some help----Update

Dave,

Are there any clear plastic type of clips, where the body meets the chassis, from the very bottom of the windshield?

If so, be very careful when moving these clips, in the correct direction.

I saw no clips but I'll look again.

David, are there more screws ?  Can the trucks be covering screws?

According to the manual its held on by the screws I took out. 

Are you getting any movement at all on the shell? In the past if I had no movement at all I would find another screw. Maybe a little outward pressure in the center of the frame were the shell meets the eadge of the frame.  Be careful, MURPHY LAW may be looming.

There is a little movement, I even took off the fuel tank to no avail. Geez it can't be this hard. Darn it's only a dummy for gods sake.

David relax remember It's supposed to be FUN. What I would do now is WALK AWAY AND ATACK IT TOMORROW. 

David, I forgot to tell you that you most likely won't get much sleep because you'll be thinking about it all night.  LOL

Ive had similar instances where I removed all the screws

only to find out that the shell was installed at the factory with wet

paint and the shell stuck to the frame. some careful prying

with flat head screw drivers, pushing and pulling finally let the shell

"POP" off. it was a struggle, but they come off eventually.

David...it looks like it may be all "screwed" up.......OK, OK...I just had to say it!  Sorry, I don't have any help to provide since it should come off.

AFAIK, that's all it should take to get the shell off.  Sometimes they snag and you have to spread the shell a bit to work them off.

The reason I mentioned clear plastic clips is that I needed to change a blown lamp in a caboose made around 2002 and the interior windows were all of a clear plastic shell, which fits into the shell of the cab body.

The bottom of the window shell have clips that secure onto the cab frame, causing one to utilize extreme care, when removing body shell and window shell!
