I need a little help with a recent purchase. I bid on and was successful bidder for an engine on a well know auction site. I used a credit card to make the purchase. I do not have a Paypal account. The transaction was made by the vendor through Paypay. This is a rather common practice. I have purchased from ERR and they process credit card payments via Paypal.
Here is the issue. There was a problem with the engine. The seller offered to make a price adjustment. We agreed on what the adjustment should be. They issued a credit to my Paypal account but the problem is I don't have a Paypal account.
I replied to the seller and am awaiting an answer.
Does anyone have an idea? Will the transaction result in a credit on my credit card account?
