Show us your less that a room full size layouts. After moving from Ohio several year ago and a layout in the attic10 X 30, to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and now have a spare bedroom 9 X 9 but only being a 9 X 7 area for layout needing some inspiration for new layout. After looking at the dozens of layout books that I have collected over the years, and even more videos tapes and DVDs from being in N, Ho, O and G scales I still can not come up with a layout for the space that I have. I have a inverted U shape table now 4 X 9 with the 2 legs of the U being 3 X 3 each. I have laid out 0-27 track many ways over the last couple of years but not happy with the any of them have turned out. Would like to see what others have done with space limitations. Thanks Don

Have you looked at the Thor Trains site? Lots of smaller layout plans there.
Definitely go with around the walls in a room that size !
A lift bridge across the door would let you run full loop and go with larger curves as well.
Gomez Addams layout on the Addams Family was 5' X 9'.

Do you notice they are filming 2 different layouts , one has Super O and one has O-27 track , watch the video carefully even they are running 4 different trains , a Wabash GP7 a 2343 Santa Fe , a 2-6-4 and a Santa Fe Alco O27 the splice in and out the part where the trains blow up.
