Good Morning guys, I need some suggestions and maybe Rich Melvin can contact me directly also.  I bought an item from a forum member back in November, I sent him my payment, it was received on the 27th of November and he hasn't shipped my item nor will he respond to my e-mails.  Do any of you guys have any suggestions as to what I can do to either get my item or my money back from this person.  I know I have one option and that is to go to the Post Master in the city he lives in and file a complaint against him for mail fraud.  The amount is just shy of $100.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  I won't be able to answer back until this evening as I'm getting ready to head off to work.  Thanks in advance to all who respond.

Wow! I am blown away because I use OGR Forum membership as an acceptance criteria for doing business. So far, I haven't been scammed, and in 2 cases I avoided scammers because they were identified on the OGR Forum.

I have no advice other than to have the a postal inspector show up at the door step of the person. Good luck and keep us posted.

Not much of a helpful comment.  Pointing out the obvious!

How did you pay for the item?

Perhaps the seller has some serious personal issues like illness or death in the family that has delayed a response. You could check out his profile and see if you can determine who his friends and contacts might be from a club and try getting in touch with them?

If you post his name here someone may be able to help...
