Thank you Carl! I will work with the peninsula. Yeah, I have the real 072 in front of me and all 1/2 roadbed extensions are on it, but not on RRT program. Problem was I couldn't notice the gray/white background contrast showing the missing piece on the straight part of turnout. You are a lifesaver! I will work on it later.

Adriatic, thanks for that very important advice. Maybe in the future I will have scale size/Premier/legacy, etc. engines. But I doubt it. I have to work with what I have. I am happy with Railking size, and smaller Premier engines like my Pennsy  Alco RS11.

That peninsula was tough for me because I didn't see the angle that you wanted. I kept try to straighten it out. That squeezed the aisle space.

I was looking at a way to get the pass-through assembly in there where the long spurs are located. It won't fit and you need the balloon around the short spurs for the 2nd r-loop. That top loop was a fitting challenge.

By the way, try to use 072 switches, the 060's are oddballs and cause fitment nightmares. The turn-out doesn't replace a full 060 curve.

There are a few areas were multiple fitters can be eliminated for a custom cut track. Do that when you like a final plan.

It will be a nice layout.

If you still want an under table staging area, I think you'll have to use the top loop that you are elevating. One for down and the other half for up. I don't see any other space with long enough runs.

Just keep refining it and use the simulator to check out play value.

Been busy workin' on the railroad. This is my chosen layout. I will worry about storage tracks at another time. I can better visualize its feasibility when I have it built. Then I will decide if it will be done. I know where I will place them. Under the upper loop. At angled lower left I will put a right turnout where track will run along side inner main and descend to a wye leading to 2 long stub ends. Conversed with Tim at Mianne benchwork about this so I know what to consider for clearance. It might be feasible. If not I will just store rolling stock on track not connected to the powered line, or block power on it and use my hands to pull cars up. I would enjoy that. Not worried about access because they will be mostly reachable. It will be just for storage.

I attached what I finished today. I simulated train running. That was fun!
