Could someone who owns the scale / 2-rail, Premier SD70ACe, from either MTH or Atlas comment on any tips on mounting the snowplow to the front pilot?
I recently picked up most recent deliveries from Atlas, of the Premier, 2-rail, ES44AC (Atlas, Item #: 30138195) and SD70ACe (Atlas, Item #: 30138172). Both have snowplows (different styles) mount with screws onto bosses behind the pilot and have 2 tabs at the bottom on the snowplow, that come from under the pilot to secure the snowplow.
While the snowplow on the ES44AC mounts at a reasonable height, the snowplow on the SD70ACe seems to sit way too low.
I have other MTH Premier ES44AC and I am familiar with the snowplow height, but this is the first SD70ACe that I own from either MTH or Atlas and I was wondering if there were any tips to mount the snowplow a little higher on the pilot.
These are just my opinion,
